In the IoT Tracking group, we build products and
technologies to let people and organizations know where their Things are, see
where they have been and determine where they will go and optimize the business
End-to-end Tracking Products including Cloud, Web and Mobile
Apps and Client Libraries developed in the IoT Tracking group solve a wide
variety of technical challenges ranging from real-time visualization of events
happening around the world to sub-second rendering of hundreds of thousands of
- Use your ability to quickly understand
complicated requirements to help you create the best architecture, code base
and – most importantly – product on top of our tracking, mapping and navigation
- Lead development of web
experiences as part of an integrated team of developers, testers and
- Develop and lead
implementation of a technical roadmap for the product - what technologies
we should integrate, how the architecture should evolve
- Promote engineering best
practices (test-driven development, pairing, refactoring, continuous
- Coach, mentor and
develop your team of engineers
- Challenge us internally
and help us to improve in multiple areas, e.g. code quality, CI/CD,
architecture, product vision, and UX.
What else are we looking for in you?
with React.JS, Angular, Vue.JS or other frameworks
understanding of CSS as well as preprocessors such as Sass
- Know how
to use Node.JS for frontend tooling, building, compiling and testing
with Grunt, Gulp, Webpack, other build tools
- Know how
to set up and use testing frameworks such as Karma or Jest
with Git. Ideally also Gerrit for code reviews.
- Experience optimizing web site performance
- Experience with responsive design
- Good understanding of browser limitations and
platform specific differences and quirks
- Experience in Agile software development
- Experience with Continuous Integration systems
- You are comfortable working side-by-side with designers
to get the UX perfect
- BSc or MSc in computer science or an equivalent
